  • 2026 will mark our 10th year of running Trans NZ. It has been quite the ride and one that will be sadly missed. I mean I won't say for sure that it won't return, but for now we have other areas of life to focus on for a few years - who knows maybe we will return with some new and exciting!

  • So if this event has been on your bucket list, then it is now time to act - we are announcing dates earlier then ever before and opening registration earlier then we ever have before to allow people to really plan and make it happen!

  • We use to sell out every year within hours of opening reg until 2020 when the pandemic hit - I suspect this year will go back to sell out with it being the final year - so mark the registration opening date in your calendar now!

REGISTRATION 2025

  • Registration Opens June 10th @ 9.00am Auckland Time

    • Sydney Aus: June 10th @ 9.00am

    • Pacific Canada/USA: June 10 @ 7.00am

    • London UK: June 9 @10.00pm

  • Make sure your group of friends all sign up at the same time if you all want to get in together. If one or a few of you miss out, then email us immediately and we will get the rest of your group in - as we know that the whole main point of an event like this is about coming with your buddies

  • But don't hesitate if you plan to sign up on your own - as you will make 100+ new friends during the week!

  • Upon registration you will be required to pay 50% deposit. Remaining payment is due October 1

  • Feb 21 is arrival day, Feb 22 to Feb 27 are the race days and Feb 28 is departure day

  • There are 3 x packages available - see below for details on each

ALL INCLUSIVE​​​

80 Spots Twin (2 x Single Bed)

50 Spots Triple (1 x Single Bed plus 1 x Bunk Bed)

 

We essentially do everything for you except buckle up your helmet!

 

There is an unbelievable line up of services and organized riding for you over the 6 day event - So what's included??

  • Highly accurate timing system with instant results right at the finish line when you come in

  • Option to get airport and downtown pickups from Christchurch on arrival day 

  • Option to get a transfer back to Christchurch from Queenstown after the event completion

SELF SUPPORT PACKAGE​

This is a self-supported package where you have to get yourself to the start line each day and work out your own accommodation and meals etc. If you don't have your own driver for your vehicle, then there may be vehicle retrievals required on some days where you start and finish in different locations, but very simple to organize

  • Lunch each day at the finish line

  • Final buffet dinner on Day 6 

  • Custom designed 6-day course, where we have personally hand-picked the best locations and trails to showcase to you

  • Professional highly trained First aid on course every day

  • Fully detailed event info guide so you know where to find camping/accom and where you need to be each day with maps and driving directions etc 

  • Custom design Trans BC Jersey made by KAZOOM Custom Clothing

  • Price Includes 15% GST 

  • Processing fees will be added at checkout​ for credit card payments

  • If you pay via bank transfer (New Zealander's only) then there is no processing fee added

TRIP CANCELLATION INSURANCE​​

 

 

COVER YOURSELF FROM SICKNESS, INJURY OR MORE:

 

  • It's HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you purchase 'trip cancellation' once you pay for your entry.

  • As per stats of the last many years - 20% of you will have to cancel. Mostly due to injury

  • View the cancellation policy in the next section below and 'know' the dates and policy

  • Don't come to me and say 'I have to cancel as I injured myself but I didn't buy any trip cancellation. Is there anything you can do for me? I didn't think I would get injured'.  I have heard it all before!!!  

  • This is your chance to cover your entry and you are now choosing if you want to take the risk upon yourself of getting or not getting it

  • Google 'Trip Cancellation Insurance' and you will get options for the country you live in

CANCELLATION POLICY AND TERMS​​

 

2026: TERMS/POLICY/PRIVACY:

​

  • We will not share any of your details from registration with any third party providers, your information is strictly kept within Trans BC

  • We are unable to provide any refunds if any of the 6 days during the event needs to be canceled last minute due to safety issues like extreme weather or fires. Your registration fees will have already been allocated to accommodation, meals, transport and other related event expenses at that time. We will do our best to move location or provide an alternative rad experience to keep the hype high. In the past 5 years we have not had to cancel any days. In 7 years of Trans NZ we have had to cancel 1 day due to extreme weather conditions...snow!

CANCELLATION POLICY 2026:

​​​​​​

  • 75% refund of full reg price - up to October 1, 2025

    • Equates to 50% refund of deposit payments  

  • 50% refund of full reg price - from Oct 1 to Dec 1, 2025

    • Equates to no refund on deposit paid 

  • 25% refund from Dec 1 to Jan 1, 2026

  • NO REFUNDS after Jan 1, 2026
