VOLUNTEERS
We LOVE Volunteers and are looking for some high energy enthusiasts to join the Trans NZ Volunteer Team for 2024
Roles that are available:

On course marshals (you will get to ride the full course each day) - First Aid Required

Drivers (to drive 12 pax vans - regular open drivers license required), you will most likely to included in other roles throughout the day

General Help: Food/meal assistants, cleaning, set up etc

Course markers (course markers will most likely need to be locals for each locations that know the courses/trails)

Photographers and videographers

First Aid (on course, which means you get to ride most of the course each day). You require an Emergency Medial Responder level or equivalent / paramedic level / doctor / nurse / or similar experience.
What you get for volunteering for Trans NZ:

3 meals per day supplied

Transportation throughout the event for yourself and of course your bike - including airport pickups - eg we are responsible for getting you and your bike to the start of the course each day and returning you to your accommodation at the end of each day

8 Nights backpacker style accommodation

Volunteers would arrive in Christchurch/Craigieburn on the day before for training and briefing and will be finished on the last day for all marshals. Some of the drivers will drive the shuttles vans back to Christchurch on this day.
