1. I acknowledge that the race will take place on grade 4 (A mixture of long, steep climbs, narrow track, poor traction and obstacles that are difficult to avoid or jump over. Generally exposed at the track’s outside edge) and Grade 5 (Technically challenging. Giant climbs, narrow track and numerous hazards including dangerous drop-offs, sharp corners and difficult obstacles.) designated trails and that I have the required skill level to ride these trails. 

2. I will carry all the necessary equipment and clothing to allow me to ride in all weather conditions.

3. In the event of any ‘act of God’ conditions causing a cancellation of the Event, I agree that my total entry fee is not transferable or refundable.

4. I am in an appropriate physical condition to participate in the Event, given the known parameters of the Event (up to7 hours of riding per day, with technical climbing in all weather conditions).

5. I have taken medical advice on any pre-existing medical conditions, and confirm that it is medically safe for me to participate in the Event.

6. There are inherent risks, hazards and damages associated with these Activities which can cause injury, damage, death or other loss to you and others. These risks include (but are not limited to) those usually associated with competitive or athletic activities, the need for extreme fitness and endurance, outdoor environments.

7.  You acknowledge that You are voluntarily participating with knowledge of the risks. You assume and accept full responsibility for Yourself, for the risks of the activities, and for any injury, damage, death or other loss you may suffer as a result of these risks, including but not limited to, the risk of Your co-participant, a spectator, a volunteer, a third party, or a Released Party’s passive or active negligence or misconduct

8. I understand and agree that situations may arise during the Event, which may be beyond the immediate control of the Event organisers (including all officials and event volunteers).

9. I will participate in the Event, in a manner that does not endanger either me or others.

10. I agree that to the extent permissible by law, the Event organisers (including all officials and event volunteers), the sponsors and other parties associated with the Event, have no liability to me whatsoever for any direct or indirect loss, (including, but not limited to injury or death) sustained by me during or in any way related to my participation in the Event.

11. I authorise the use of my name, voice, picture and information on this entry form in any broadcast, telecast, promotion, advertising, and in any other way, without payment to me or any other form of compensation.

12. I agree to comply with the rules, and regulations pertaining to the Event.

13. I agree to follow all reasonable safety instructions provided to me by the Event organisers, (including all officials and event volunteers) before, during and after the Event.

14. I consent to receiving medical treatment in the event of illness or injuries suffered during or immediately after the Event.
